The polluted ground material is transported through the housing by a high-speed revolving rotor. A constantly renewed cleaning solution runs in the opposite direction, allowing pollutants to rub off and break down into minute particles due to the quick rotations. The inner screen tube serves as a dewatering device as well as a pollutant filter.
